Disability Support Manager Application

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Disability Support Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of one of the 5 pillars of support. Services are delivered to an approved standard that is participant-focused and meets their achievable goals, and the expectations of our clients and other stakeholders through the implemented Seasonal Plans.

The role requires a sound working knowledge and understanding of disability service delivery, team management, training/mentoring, the ability to maintain set budgets, project management activities, and efficient communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing budget allocation and financial resources to optimise service delivery.

Committed to contiunous improvement principles, research, education, and adherence to the set quality standards.

Supervise a team of dedicated support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality services.

Responsible for implementation of systems and processes that place the client at the centre of service delivery, exercising maximum choice and control including NDIS, Quality and Safeguarding standards.

Collaborate with clients, their families, and support teams to develop individualised service plans, ensuring they reciever the right support and resources.

Advocate on behalf of clients, ensuring they have access to essential services, resources, and opportunities.

Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, and standards, ensuring all services meet legal and ethical requirements.

Foster relationships with local communities, organisations and partners to enhance the support network for individuals with disabilities.

Maintain accurate records and generate reports to track progress and outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Certificate 3 in Individual Support.

Certificate 4 in Individial Support and/or Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment or related field.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.

Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to Christian values.

Experience or willing to learn in the development and delivery of programs for people with an intellecutal and developmental disability.

The Offer:

The Disability Support Manager position is offered on a casual basis at a competitive wage plus superannuation, initially.
